Program Policy Manual for TANF (Cash Assistance) and SNAP (Food Assistance).
The Program Policy Manual (PPM) is an integrated eligibility manual that contains information about the following benefit programs administered by the Division of Family Resources (DFR): cash assistance under Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and Refugee Cash Assistance; and food assistance under the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). The manual contains eligibility and administrative policies based on State and Federal laws and regulations that govern the programs.
First-time users of the manual are encouraged to read through Chapter 1000 to understand the terminology and organization of the manual, particularly to learn how the sections apply to the different programs and categories of programs.
