Federal Consistency Register

Lake Michigan Coastal Program Federal Consistency Register

The following projects/proposals for action have been filed for review under the Federal Consistency requirement for the Lake Michigan Coastal Program (LMCP).

Public comments on proposed actions are accepted for a period of ten (10) days after posting to this website or mailing of public notice, as indicated in the table below. Any person who asserts the activity would not meet federal consistency must state with reasonable particularity the state law or laws that would be violated.

The LMCP shall provide the applicant and any person who has offered timely comments, with written notice of its intention to concur or object to a certification of federal consistency. Once the LMCP issues notice of action on a given project/proposal any person may supplement the record of the LMCP within five (5) days of notice.

Projects open for comment as noted in the “Public Comment End Date” column, as well as projects closed for comment which were submitted in the current and past calendar years, can be found in the table below.
