Admission, Rates, and Reservations

Reservations

*Reservations shall be made from Monday to Thursday from 9:00AM to 6:00PM only.
Reservations will not be taken Friday thru Sunday

Reservation are not and cannot be made by e-mail.

  • Check-in for camping is at 1 pm, and check-out is at noon. If nobody is on your site before your day of arrival, you may arrive as early as 10 am, though you must call ahead.
  • Reservations can be made by phone, or in person. Campers using a trailer, mobile home, RV, or popup need to have the model, color, and license plate information at hand.
  • Primitive Campsites are non-reservable. Check-in must be between 1:00PM and 9:00PM.
  • Electric Campsites and cabins must be paid in full for the duration of their stay when the reservation is made.
  • Maximum of 12 Nights in Modern Electric Sites, and 6 Nights in Primitive Sites
  • Sites cannot be reserved by a customer, for another customer, unless the transaction is paid in full at the time of reservation.
  • For private group rentals (Recreation Building, and Flory Shelter) $150 damage deposit must be paid to confirm the reservation; upon arrival, $150 must be paid along with the $5 gate fee for each attendee, unless other arrangements are made. If the area is found to be clean upon inspection after the event, the $150 damage deposit will be refunded to the customer.
  • The waterfall area is non-reservable.
  • If a customer does not show up by check-in on the second day of the reservation, it becomes forfeit, unless prior notice is given.

When making camping reservation this is the information will need to have. If you are making reservations for other campers, you will need to have their complete information.

Cancellations

Only the reservation holder can cancel or make changes to an existing reservation.

  • If a reservation is canceled 8 or more days before arrival, a flat $10 cancellation fee will be charged (per site that is canceled.)
  • If a reservation is canceled between 1 and 7 days before arrival, the first night's rental fee will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • If a reservation is canceled on or after the day of arrival, the customer will forfeit their entire rental fee.
  • Reservation dates may be switched upon request; however, it is not guaranteed you will get the same site. (Does not apply on holiday weekends.)
  • No refunds will be given due to inclement weather

France Park Golf Cart Rules 2026

* Campers must register their golf carts at the campground office and display the provided sticker permit where visible by park staff.
* Drivers must be licensed and at least 16 years old. 12 to 16 years of age must have a responsible licensed adult next to them while operating golf cart.
* Golf carts are not to be driven by non-licensed person on holiday weekends. NO EXEPTIONS!
* Golf carts must be operated responsibly and courteously. Drivers should avoid distractions, drive within speed limits, and may not operate under the influence.
* Golf carts must be maintained to prevent excessive noise and smoke.
* Engines must be same as stock. No motor larger than stock will be allowed.
* Golf carts must give pedestrians the right of way and follow all rules that pertains to a vehicle.
* Golf carts must have working lights and reflectors to be driven after dark. The driver must be licensed if operated after dark.
* You are only permitted to carry as many passengers as your seating will allow.
* Golf carts must not be operated in a way that disturbs others or the natural environment.
* Owners are responsible for any injuries or damage to park or private properties caused by their golf cart.
* Golf carts must be parked at camp site from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. with the exception to use for transportation to and from restroom or the park office.
* Park staff reserves the right to revoke golf cart privileges to any camper at any time.
* France Park is not responsible for stolen or damaged golf carts or accidents, damages, injuries, and or deaths of any kind related to the use of a Golf Cart.
* France Park will not be towing anyone that is stuck or broke down in camping areas or on trails.
* Golf carts must be parked in proper designated areas. Golf carts are not authorized to park on beach, on areas going down to beach, or any other areas vehicles are not authorized to park.
* Golf carts are to remain on premade authorized roads and trails.

Season Passes

  • Season passes are from Jan.1 - Dec.31
  • Golf Cart Pass must be purchased, and proof of insurance is required. The pass and insurance are required for all golf carts. Proof of insurance can be mailed to the park. The cost is $25.00 and will be good for the calendar year and purchased annually.
