Impact Statements from RSI Participants
After every motorcycle safety course concludes, RSI gives participants the chance to provide feedback on how the course can potentially be improved for future students. From this RSI has collected many positive compliments from Hoosiers who have had the chance to take a course. We're so happy to hear when participants have come away with great experiences.
I think it was excellent. The exercises and all. The exercises really do prepare you for the evaluation at the end, properly. Kayanna and Aaron were AMAZING instructors. They were very welcoming and when they corrected me they did it in a respectful manner. I ESPECIALLY loved how there was a male and female riding instructor. Since I am a female it was very comforting also having a female instructor there.
Jeff and Bill are absolutely fantastic instructors very good at communicating. Good pace and kept the class moving and kept everyone very engaged. I will recommend this class to anyone. Thanks Fellas!
Where do I put positive feedback?! This course was excellent! 10/10 would recommend. As a new rider, I was initially very hesitant however Daniel and Justin did a phenomenal job teaching the content and exercises in a way that was very manageable and easy to understand. They were patient yet persistent, welcomed questions, and created a fun and positive learning environment. I genuinely can’t think of anything I would have wanted different. Thank you!
Thank you for your patience and care for each and every rider no matter what the skill level was! Keep being awesome! Blessings!
There is so much good information I received throughout the duration of the course that I think is good knowledge for driving situations not only for motorcycling but ALL driving.
My instructor made me feel very welcome and he taught me to believe in myself! 10/10 would recommend!!
Honestly it was a great time, and it was quick and very well taught if you come with an open mind and your ears turned on you should be able to get through it quick and easy; It was a super fun time I wouldn’t change anything.

BMV Associates Supporting RSI and Their Mission
Since 2022, RSI has conducted an annual tee shirt designing contest, asking BMV associates to submit and vote for a winning design to showcase what RSI means to them. Associates look forward to this yearly competition, and they proudly wear the chosen design to the branches on designated days. RSI is so appreciative of the support and engagement from BMV associates. The shirts are a great talking point when customers come into the branches and helps to spread the word about RSI's mission.
Meet the RSI Team
Born from a passion to keep riders safe on the road, Ride Safe Indiana (RSI) was established in 2016. The BMV recognized it could better serve Indiana motorcyclists by owning the program and building relationships with multiple contractors across the state.
RSI is proud the program is providing new and current riders with the knowledge and skills to help them stay safe on the road and possibly save their lives.
In 2023, RSI providers and coaches trained a record-breaking
8,385 riders.
The team has set a goal of training 10,000 riders!
