Elkhart Municipal Water

Elkhart Municipal Water is seeking changes to its rates and charges in IURC Cause No. 46010.

The utility filed its initial petition February 5, 2024. Elkhart Municipal Water filed it's amended petition and the following testimony July 2024:

The OUCC is expected to file testimony on Sept. 24, 2024.

Written public comments are invited through Sept. 17, 2024. All publicly filed documents in this case are available on the IURC's website.

Elkhart's current municipal water rates were approved in 2007 (IURC Cause No. 43191)

Municipal sewer rates are not under IURC jurisdiction. They are approved by locally elected city and town councils.
