Internship Programs2011 Summer Internship ProgramThe Office of the Lieutenant Governor will offer volunteer internship opportunities for summer 2011. Depending on student availability, summer internships typically are from May through August.  Applicants may be allowed to receive credit from their college or university for the experience. Students are responsible for payment of any required internship fees and must also inquire with their academic institution about the requirements for receiving credit.

Summer internships will be offered in the following offices:
·  Lt. Governor’s Office
· Office of Community and Rural Affairs
· Office of Tourism Development
· Office of Energy Development
· Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority
· Indiana State Department of Agriculture

The Office is currently accepting applications for summer 2011 placements.   Interested applicants must submit an application packet consisting of a resume and cover letter, with clarification of the office in which you wish to intern, no later than March 14, 2011.

Lt. Governor’s CLEO Legal Fellowship ProgramThe Lt. Governor’s Office also offers the CLEO legal fellow program during the fall and spring semesters.  This is a one semester paid placement for 2nd and 3rd year CLEO law students.  Students are expected to work 10 hours per week.  The fellow will gain exposure to the inner workings of the executive branch and will assist legal staff with various tasks.

Applications for Fall 2010/Spring 2011 placements will be accepted from May 1-June 18, 2010. Interested applicants should submit a resume, cover letter, and a legal writing sample  of no more than ten (10) pages in length to:
