Language Access Task Force

Purpose

The Language Access Task Force was created by Supreme Court Order to address the issue of providing effective, fair, and efficient language access in Indiana courts.  The twelve member task force will manage all Supreme Court related programs and projects designed to improve access for Limited English Proficient (LEP) individuals to our court system.  The task force includes members of the Indiana State Bar Association, the trial judiciary, the prosecutor and criminal defense bar, the education community, the deaf community and/or advocates for the deaf community, attorneys who regularly represent LEP clients, and members of the interpreter profession.
