Notice of Proposed Rule Amendments by the Indiana Supreme Court Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure for Public Comment
To the Bench, Bar and Public:
Pursuant to Ind. Trial Rule 80, the Indiana Supreme Court Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure has posted the following:
1 In Forma Pauperis in Appeals
This amendment to Appellate Rule 40 creates two new forms for motions to proceed in forma pauperis.
2 Change of Judge in Small Claims
This amendment adds Small Claims Rule 12.1, time to file change of judge.
3 Alternative Dispute Resolution
This amendment adds a variety of changes to the ADR Rules.
4 Definition of "Signature"
This amendment defines the terms "signature" and "signed" in Trial Rule 83.
5 CLE Exemptions for Judges and Attorneys in the Military
This amendment provides exemptions to CLE requirements for attorneys and judges on active duty or deployed outside of the United States.
