IURC SETS FIELD HEARINGS FOR INDIANA AMERICAN WATER RATE CASE

 

There will be four field hearings across Indiana, as the Utility Regulatory Commission considers a request for a rate increase by Indiana American Water.

 

In Cause No. 42029 the hearing dates are as follows:

         The first step: An immediate 10.71% increase in company revenue to generate $12,722,176 additional revenues.

         The second: An estimated 8% increase to produce additional $10,518,535 in company revenue and should be implemented after the new tunnel in the Northwest Service Area is placed in service.

         The third step:An estimated 0.09% increase in company revenue occurs after retiring the existing tunnel to produce $123,402 more in revenues.
