IURC APPROVES DECREASE IN FUEL COST CHARGE FOR
LOGANSPORT� MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC
DEPARTMENT
Today, the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission
approved a decrease in the fuel cost charge of Logansport Municipal Electric.
In Cause No. 38705-FAC 54, the Commissioners agree
the company has made every reasonable effort to acquire fuel at the lowest
reasonable price, and it is in the best interest of its customers to allow the
company to pass those savings along.
The average customer who uses 1,000 kWh per month
should see a $3.27 decrease per month on his or her electric bill.
The Logansport Municipal Electric Department serves
nearly 13,000 residential and business customers.
