• There is unapproved glazing material installed in the bus
• Any required lettering is missing or faded.
• Does not have two tail and brake lamps 3 ¾” and two tail and brake lamps 7” round or 38 square inches of illuminated area, normally visible for 500 feet
• There is no seat belt cutter in the vehicle

• Front tire has less than 4/32 of an inch tread depth when measured in two (2) adjacent major grooves at three (3) locations spaced equally around the outside of the tire
• Tires are cut, weathered, cracked, have lumps, or breaks that expose the cord
• The front or rear bumper is not properly attached.
• The service door does not open or close properly
• Heater motor is not operating properly.
• Exhaust leak occurs in the exhaust system exceeding 1" measurable in any direction or 1/2" in diameter.

• Any hanger, clamp or bracket is missing, loose or broken.
• Any component has deteriorated and allows the escape of exhaust gases (with the engine idling and the system unrestricted).
• One (1) nut, bolt or lug is missing, loose or broken
• Mirror or mirror backs that are loose or improperly mounted.
• There is debris in the bus. (needs cleaned) includes dirt
• The belt cutter shall be located and secured in the driver's compartment(cannot be located in the first aid, must be within the drivers reach)
• If the words 'EMERGENCY EXIT' does not appear directly above each emergency exit window on the inside of the bus
