Posey County Prosecutor - Thomas Clowers

Thomas E. Clowers was appointed to this office in April 2019 upon his predecessor becoming the judge of Posey Superior Court.  Mr. Clowers was elected to continue in the office in November 2022 with the current term starting January 1, 2023.  A 2008 graduate of Murray State University, Mr. Clowers earned his law degree from the University of Kentucky in 2012.  Prior to becoming the prosecuting attorney, Mr. Clowers previously served as a deputy prosecuting attorney in Vigo County and in Vanderburgh County.
