Employer Update: June 2022

TRF My Choice and TRF Hybrid composite rates will change from 5.5% to a total of  6.0% effective July 01, 2022, through June 30, 2023. For TRF My Choice, the standard cost will be 6.0%, and the supplemental rate will be 0%. This will apply to the ERM payroll date of  July 1, 2022, and after irrespective of the pay period dates or range.  Please get in touch with your payroll vendors in advance to be prepared for the rate change.

Meet Employer Advocate Julie Packard

Meet Employer Advocate Julie Packard! Julie started working for INPRS as an Employer Advocate in August of 2021. In her role, Julie assists employers with various inquiries, assists with new enrollments, helps employers through employee termination processes, and more!

Julie works on the Delinquency Team and the Exception Queue Team within her department. In these teams, Julie sends reminders to those who have errors on their submission reports and invoices to those submission units that need help submitting their payments.

“I enjoy solving complex issues, completing adjustments, and providing valuable information to the employer to make their job easier and understand the importance of what we do here at INPRS.”

Reminder for PERF and TRF Schools

When terminating members in ERM and paying out their contract, please contact the Employer Advocate Team at eppa@inprs.in.gov or by phone at (888) 876-2707. Please be prepared to provide us with the members’ name, PID, submission unit number, and the payroll date that the contract pay will be applied to.
