  • The State of Indiana has a comprehensive and extremely competitive benefits program; this includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. The State also provides resources for a Health Savings Account (HSA), and a full list of those benefits can be found here.
  • To provide well-rounded health services to our employees, the State of Indiana has partnered with OPTUM to offer an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), which provides 8 free counseling sessions per topic.  Counselors are available by phone, and can provide support on the following topics:
    • General phone counseling services (available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week)
    • Child and elder care
    • Financial consultation
    • Legal and mediation services
    • Smoking cessation
    • ID recovery and credit monitoring
