Indiana Statehouse Indiana's Statehouse, a building of outstanding architectural beauty, has served as a center of civic life in Indiana since 1888. Plan your visit, read about the history of the building, or schedule a tour using the links provided below. 
 


The State of Indiana’s 200th year of statehood helped ring in a record year for the Statehouse Tour Office. Over 60,000 visitors – a 17 percent increase from the previous year – from all over the world came to take guided tours throughout the Statehouse in 2016.

Great Hoosiers In Sculpture

Statehouse Busts

Visitors to the Indiana Statehouse have a source for information about the sculptured busts placed on the various levels of the Rotunda. The historic artwork - Great Hoosiers in Sculpture - represents some of Indiana's most prestigious citizens.
