David Turnham (1803-1884)

In 1819, Turnham family settled less than one mile northeast of Thomas Lincoln's farm. Turnham was a friend of Abraham Lincoln. Turnham loaned Lincoln Revised Laws of Indiana (1824) in 1827. After Lincoln's assassination, he provided information to historians about Lincoln's youth.
