Evidenced-based school social services grants

The Indiana Legislature has appropriated $3.5 million for the Family and Social Services Administration through the Division of Mental Health and Addiction. This is to contract with no more than three regionally diverse social services providers to implement an evidence-based program that partners with school corporations, charter schools and accredited nonpublic schools. This is to provide social work services and evidence-based prevention programs to children, parents, caregivers, teachers and the community to prevent substance abuse, promote healthy behaviors and maximize student success.
