High Fidelity Wraparound Access Site Procedure Webinar
Since the publication of the High Fidelity Wraparound Access Site Policy, procedural questions have been raised by some of the existing High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) Access sites and local Systems of Care (SOC). To provide additional support to our community partners, the Division of Mental Health and Addiction (DMHA) is developing the High Fidelity Wraparound Access Site Procedure with associated templates.
A webinar has been scheduled wherein the procedure and templates will be shared, and your questions may be asked. Please plan to attend January 11, 2018 at 10am EST. For those unable to attend, or who wish to revisit the webinar at a later time, a recording will be posted with Q & A on DMHA’s Community Access Sites page.
In the interim, DMHA would like to respond to one key, frequently asked question: When is our HFW Access Site due for reauthorization?
All HFW Access Sites for the 1915 (i) Child Mental Health Wraparound (CMHW) program were initially determined between 2013 and 2014; however, there are no dated award letters with which to determine the date for reauthorization. Most of the Access Sites are operated by the same entities who provide the service of Wraparound Facilitation. Like the HFW Access Sites, those providers are authorized for a period of three years. The reauthorization dates are not synchronized, due to the Access Sites having been authorized prior to the authorization of the WF agency.
To better facilitate the process of reauthorization, DMHA has determined that Access Sites will have geographically coordinated reauthorization dates, and will all be due in the same calendar year. All existing HFW Access sites should consider themselves current and authorized, with all reauthorizations due in 2018, on April 1st, July 1st, or November 1st as assigned. A map with a list by county are available for review. Subsequent reauthorization years would be 2021, 2024, 2027, etc.
1915(i) Child Mental Health Wraparound Services Participant & Provider Map
DMHA is pleased to present a newly published 1915(i) Child Mental Health Wraparound Services Participant & Provider Map. This map shows the number of approved, active youth (participants) receiving CMHW services, as well as the number of employees approved as service providers in each county.
The purpose of the map is to offer a geographical display of regions of the state where providers may be needed. For providers or prospective providers who are interested in relocating to an area of the state where there is a scarcity of providers, this map may act as a guide.
These numbers are accurate as of November 21, 2017. As noted on the map, some providers may not appear on pick lists due to Medicaid enrollment lag.
Please contact DMHAYouthServices@fssa.in.gov with questions.
Required viewing of the DMHA Webinar—“Child Mental Health Wraparound Orientation for Wraparound Facilitators”
DMHA strives to meet the needs of youth and families as well as requirements set forth in the approved 1915i CMHW State Plan Benefit. To meet our quality improvement objectives, DMHA is requiring all Wraparound Facilitators (WFs) and Wraparound Facilitation Supervisors (WFSs) to complete the on-demand webinar “Child Mental Health Wraparound Orientation for Wraparound Facilitators.”
Participants will receive one hour of professional development training which may be used for reauthorization.
All current authorized WFs and WFSs will have until April 30, 2018 to complete this training. Once completed, please submit a copy of the certificate of completion (available at the conclusion of the webinar) to DMHAYouthServices@fssa.in.gov. Agencies will need to retain a copy of the certificate for reauthorization.
All new WF applicants will need to complete this training as a part of their application packet.
If you have questions, please submit them to DMHAYouthServices@fssa.in.gov
This webinar is for Wraparound Facilitators only, and may not be used to apply for other CMHW services.

Billing and Claims for CMHW Services
Providers needing assistance with CMHW claims issues should follow the steps outlined below:
- Contact Ken Guth of DXC at Ken.Guth@DXC.com. You will need to provide only the ICN/s (Individual Claim Number/s). ICN/s are unique, are not protected health information (PHI), and do not require secure email. (Any PHI must be sent in a HIPAA compliant manner.) With them, Mr. Guth will be able to look up the claim and investigate the reason/s for denial.
- Mr. Guth will either resolve the claim issue with the provider, or refer the provider to the DMHA database (Tobi) helpdesk.
- The provider will need to submit a ticket to the Tobi helpdesk using the instructions found here.
- When submitting the ticket, please include the ICN and any additional information from Mr. Guth.
- The Tobi helpdesk support team will work with the provider, DMHA, DXC, and the Wraparound Facilitator if necessary to resolve the issue.
Questions regarding this may be sent to the provider specialist at Julie.Bandy@fssa.in.gov.
