About First Steps
To partner with Hoosier families whose young children are experiencing developmental delays and connect them with services that help them promote their child’s development.
All infants and toddlers have the right to live, love, play, learn and participate in their community.
Indiana First Steps seeks to provide services that are:
- Family centered
- Culturally competent
Families with children ages birth to third birthday who are experiencing developmental delays and/or have a diagnosed condition that has a high probability of resulting in developmental delay may be eligible for First Steps services.
