IDVA COMMISSION MEETINGS are posted on our Calendar page
There will be no State Service Officers or Women Veteran Coordinator in the IDVA Office on June 23 and 24. They will be attending the annual training session along with most of the County Veteran Service Officers. The IDVA office will be open to drop off eligibility applications during these dates and will resume normal operations on Thursday June 25th. It is imperative for them to attend this annual training in order to stay up to date on current policies and best practices to better serve our Indiana Veterans and their families.

STATE WOMEN VETERAN COORDINATOR
The Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs is pleased to announce the hiring of our State Womens Veterans Coordinator. Laura McKee is a lifelong resident of of Indiana and currently serves as an Air Force Reservist with the 434th Air Refueling Wing at Grissom Air Reserve Base, Indiana. Laura is a Senoir Master Sergeant and has been deployed numerous times in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom.

In an effort to continue to serving Hoosier veterans in the most effective manner possible, the IDVA recently underwent a third-party review of current operations. The findings and recommendations of the third-party are their own. While the IDVA is not obligated by any items within the report, the agency will give consideration to these recommendations in mapping future operations.
