The Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS) works to build a more resilient Indiana through high-quality training and educational opportunities and a robust certification program across multiple disciplines. IDHS staff currently provide training in: emergency management, emergency medical, fire services, hazardous materials (Hazmat) and search and rescue. In addition to its training efforts, the agency maintains certification records for Indiana Firefighters and EMS personnel.
