DCS  > Adoption  > Adoption Awareness Events Adoption Awareness Events

The Indiana Adoption Program is a statewide initiative to find adoptive homes for Indiana’s foster children.  Local Adoption Champions (ACs) hold events throughout Indiana to help their community understand the adoption process, the need for adoptive homes, and the needs of children waiting to be adopted. ACs provide information, materials, and answers to your questions. During November, National Adoption Month, events are held across the state to recognize and celebrate adoptive families and to bring increased awareness to the need for adoptive homes.

Our upcoming events are indicated on the map below. All events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.

Please click the red icon above the event location to view that event’s details. If you have any questions about the events or would like to know how to become more involved, please contact Anna Wolak at or (317) 545-5281 x136.
