The Indiana Office of Court Services (IOCS) provides training opportunities for Problem-Solving Court staff at various times during the year. The calendars and training registration information is located on the Justice Services Calendar. There are different requirements for the various trainings to be eligible to attend.
Staff Orientation is required by all Coordinators and case managers within one (1) year of hire. This training includes an overview of Problem-Solving Courts including the applicable administrative Rules and statutes, confidentiality, ethics, drug testing, case management, and the principles of effective interventions.
New Coordinator Orientation is open to all Problem-Solving Court Coordinators and supervisors. This training focuses on the coordinator responsibilities as outlines in the applicable administrative Rules and statues, policies and procedures, recertification procedures, and goals and objectives for the program.
Justice Services Conference is available to team members of certified problem-solving courts or problem-solving courts in the planning stages.
