Purpose
The Adult Guardianship Committee provides insight and input on changes to the Indiana guardianship system and on guardianship programming and pilot projects; monitors the state Guardianship Registry and MyINA programs and makes recommendations for changes or enhancements to these programs; provides input on training for judges and stakeholders on the Guardianship Registry and MyINA; monitors guardianship legislation; reviews, revises, and approves for publication a Guardianship Deskbook concerning adult guardianship; provides input on the effectiveness and direction of the VASIA programs; and presents guardianship programs for judicial education. The committee meets bimonthly.
