Credit Card Transaction Fee Information

Customers who choose to pay with a credit or debit card for transactions conducted through myBMV, at a branch, over the phone, and through BMV Connect kiosk, will incur a transaction fee of $0.40 + 2.06%. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted.

Payment types accepted by medium:

• myBMV: credit cards, debit cards, or e-check
• Branches: credit cards, debit cards, cash, or check
• BMV Connect Kiosks: credit cards, debit cards, or cash
• Over the Phone: credit cards or debit cards
• Mail: credit cards, debit cards, check, or e-check

Note: Checks should be made out to “BMV” or “Bureau of Motor Vehicles”.
