Appointments and Cancellations

Thank you for contacting the Indiana Department of Homeland Security. The primary function of the agency relates to support for emergency response and recovery, fire and building safety, training and exercise and grants management. Due to ongoing concerns about exposure to the COVID-19 virus, IDHS is not accepting walk-in business and is serving customers by appointment only. Please provide as much information as you can when submitting your request so that IDHS can best meet your needs and provide solutions to your concern. You will receive a confirmation email once it is determined if an in-person meeting is necessary or if guidance and help can be provided via a telephone call from the business unit. Thank you.

Requests that should not require customer service assistance from IDHS

Important COVID-19 Notice: Until further notice, the Indiana Government Center is closed to the public. All appointments must be conducted by phone call or (when necessary) by a customer service representative meeting at the east entrance to the building. This must be arranged in advance, as no walk-ins are accepted.
