• Upholstery or padding is ripped, torn, or improperly repaired

• The engine has excessive oil or grime build-up, or if there is dirt or fluid standing on the engine (i.e. oil, coolant, etc.)

• See Notes: Any defect inspector deems a violation not listed
• One (1) nut, bolt or lug is missing, loose or broken

• There is any defect which the inspector feels would adversely affect the ability of the vehicle to stop safely

• There is any defect which the inspector feels would adversely affect the ability of the vehicle to stop safely

• There is any defect not in compliance with the minimum school bus brake inspection standards

• Any shock absorber is leaking fluid

• Any rear tire has less than 2/32 inch tread depth when measured in any two adjacent major grooves

• The required low air-pressure warning device fails to operate properly

• Any front tire has less than 4/32 inch tread depth when measured in a major groove.
• Rear tire has less than 2/32 inch tread depth when measured in a major groove.

• Warning lights fail to operate correctly

• There is no brake certification, the certification has expired, or is not signed within the six month requirement.

• Switch not self-canceling
